How to Enable/Disable Traceroute via WHM?

It will list all the routers it passes through until it reaches its destination, or fails to and is discarded. In linux sever web hosting panel The system uses the permissions of the /bin/traceroute file to determine whether traceroute is enabled or disabled.

 Kindly follow the below procedure to enable or disable the traceroute.

1. Login to the whm
2. Choose traceroute option under security center

755 indicates that traceroute is enabled.
700 indicates that traceroute is disabled.

Now you can enable/disable the traceroute via WHM.
