How do I restrict particular mail id from send and receive mails?

Linux dedicated and shared servers comes with cPanel/WHM where the users can create email ids in their cPanel and they will be able to establish mail communication. It also allows the uses to restrict particular mail id from send and receive the mails in easiest way . cPanel allows the users to create email accounts as per clients requirement and they can also use the webmail interfaces to access the created mail ids or they can configure the email ids in third party softwares like outlook.


Kindly follow the below procedure to restrict the particular mail id from mail sending and receiving.

To stop particular mail id from login

If you Suspend the login the server it will not allow the user to login to the email account, it will completely prevent the user from being logging into the email account.

1.Login to cPanel
2.Click on email accounts
3.Choose the email id and click on manage suspension
4.Choose suspend in the login option to prevent login for that particular mail id

To restrict a particular mail id from receiving incoming mails

3.Choose the email id and click on manage suspension
4.Choose suspend in the Receive option to restrict particular mail id from receiving incoming mails


To restrict a particular mail id from sending outgoing mails

3.Choose the email id and click on manage suspension
4.Choose suspend in the Receive option to restrict particular mail id from receiving incoming mails
