SSL/TLS Manager Missing from cPanel

Linux Dedicated Server allows you to host Mulitple websites under your web hosting space. Linux Dedicated Server comes with full root access where you will be having control to make any changes at any time.

As a recent news, the new version of Chrome will mark all HTTP sites as ‘Not secure’ and prominently highlight this in the URL bar in an effort to create a more secure internet. Hence the necessity of SSL on domain names is vast increasing in the internet world.

After Enabling SSL/TLS option in “Feature Manager” and Added in Package also its missing in cPanel. Then you will have to follow below 3 Steps to Enable SSL/TLS option.

Here is a simple procedure that shows to enable SSL/TLS option on your server by using cPanel.

Step 1 : Need to Enable SSL option in “Tweak Settings”
Step 2 : Need to Enable SSL/TLS option in “Feature Manager”
Step 3 : Adding “Feature List” in Package

Step 1 : Need to Enable SSL option in “Tweak Settings”

  1. Login to the WHM as root
  2. Home >> Server Configuration >> Tweak Settings
  3. Go to “System” option
  4. Enable “Allow cPanel users to install SSL Hosts
  5. Click on Save.

Step 2 : Need to Enable SSL option in “Feature Manager”

  1. Login to to WHM
  2. Home >> Packages >> Feature Manager
  3. Add a new feature list >> Give name as you want Ex: Test
  4. Select all features for: Test
  5. Choose the Options “SSL/TLS and SSL Host Installer
  6. Click on Save.

Step 3 : Adding “Feature List” in Package

  1. Login to to WHM
  2. Click on Edit a Package [choose the particular domain package name for which you would like to enable SSL/TLS Option]
  3. Under the Settings section >> Feature List
  4. Choose feature list name “Test”
  5. Click on Save Changes.

That’s it.

Now you can able to SSL/TLS option in cPanel under SECURITY option.
