How to generate the CSR in Plesk panel?

CSR  is Certificate Signing Request  which is required to install the SSL certificate for particular domain. SSL is a Secure Sockets Layer which is designed to provide maximum security, while accessing website in web browser

Silicon house provides three kinds of SSL certificates as below :

1. Positive ssl
2. Comodo ssl and
3. Wildcard ssl

Kindly follow the below procedure to generate CSR in Windows Plesk Panel :

1] Login to Plesk panel by using the URL https://servername:8443/ (or) https://serverip:8443/

2] Click On Domains under Home

3] Click the Domain name which you want to generate the CSR

4] Click SSL/TLS Certificates

5] Click Add SSL/TLS Certificate

6] Enter the below details

* Certificate name * – Give any name
* Bits * – 4096
* Country * – Select the country By using dropdown box
* State or province * – Enter the State name
* Location (city) * – Enter the City
* Organization name (company) * – Enter the Organization name
* Domain name * – Enter the domain name with or without www.
* Email * – Enter the Email address

7] Click Request

Now You can able to get the CSR in the name Certificate name which you ahve given in the SSL/TLS Certificates option. Click the Certificate name , there you can able to get the CSR.
