I am getting authentication required error when accessing web statistics?

Solution:

If you have enabled “Protect access to your web statistics with your FTP username and password” in plesk for the domain you will get the above error. You can disable option using the below procedure.

[1] Access your control panel at https://www.yourdomain.com:8443 [ Example :https://www.servername:8443 ]
[2] Click on subscriptions.
[3] Click on subscription name.
[4] Click the Websites & Domains tab.
[5] Click on Hosting Settings.
[6] Disable the option Protect access to your web statistics with your FTP username and password and Click on ok
