How to setup DMARC records in cPanel?
Linux Reseller Hosting cPanel allows you to setup DMARC records. DMARC policies are published in the DNS as text (TXT) records and announce what an email receiver should do with non-aligned mail it receives.
DMARC records are designed for better mail security, to minimize false positives, to enable sender policy at receivers, to avoid phishing delivery and to provide robust authentication reporting.
Please follow the below procedure to add DMARC records in cPanel:
1) Login to cPanel of the domain
2) Click on Zone editor Under Domains
3) Click on Manage
4) Click on the dropdown next to Add record
5) Choose “Add DMARC record”
6) Choose the DMARC policy as one of the below,
i) None ii) Quarantine iii) Reject
You can also modify your DMARC policy flags from “none” to “quarantine” to “reject” as you gain experience
7) Click on Add record
