How to set mail filters for a domain or particular mail id?

Silicon house provides reseller and dedicated server hosting which comes with standard cPanel/ WHM and allows the users to establish the email communication. Mail filters will helps the users to set various kinds of rules in incoming and outgoing mails according to their wish.

To create filter for a whole domain follow the below procedure,

1. Login to Cpanel.

2. If you want to set filter for an entire domain choose global mail filters option under email section

3. Click create a new filter.

4. Enter the filter name.

5. Select the rules by pull down menu.

6. Enter the characters or words you wish to use as a filter.

7. Select the actions using pull down menu.

8. Click create.

To create a filter for a particular mail id follow the below procedure,

1. Login to Cpanel.

2. If you want to set filter for a particular mail id choose  email Filters option under email section

3. Enter username of the mail id in Filters by Users option and click manage filters

4. Click create a new filter.

5. Enter the filter name.

6. Select the rules by pull down menu.

7. Enter the characters or words you wish to use as a filter.

8. Select the actions using pull down menu.

9. Click create.
