How do I Install SSL certificates for my domain in cPanel ?

Linux Reseller Web Hosting will provides you cPanel as control panel. By using your control panel you can Install SSL certificates easily for your domain using SSL/TLS option. To install SSL you have to Generate Certificate Authority Bundle. Generate the CSR certificate for the domain from where the domain is pointed. CSR generation can be done only by your Web Hosting Provider.

1.Login to cPanel

2.Choose SSL/TLS option

3.Choose “Certificate Signing Requests on Server”

4.Enter the details

5.Click on generate

You need to give the generated CSR to your SSL provider and ask them to issue the certificate and CA bundle. After which You need to install the SSL certificates where the domain is pointed,

Kindly follow the below procedure to install the SSL at your end.

1.Login to cPanel

2.Choose SSL/TLS option

3.Choose Manage SSL sites under the option Install and Manage SSL for your site (HTTPS)

4.Select the Domain name [ Ex.example.com ]

5.Enter Certificate and Certificate Authority Bundle provided by the SSL provider

6.Enter Private Key from the CSR

7.Click on Install certificate

Once you installed SSL certificates you can access your domain with https without any issues.
