How to identify when email got bounced in Linux Reseller Hosting ?

Bounce message is an automated message from a mail system. When an email messages cannot be delivered to the email address is know as bounce message. A bounced email does not arrives at the destination email id and the mail is sent back to the sender with an error message. Some of the common bounce back error messages and it is solutions are there below.

Reasons:

1.A non existent mail address

2.Undeliverable mail

3.Mailbox full

4.Blocked mail

 

Solution:

====

1. Check in your network whether the ports 143,110,25,443 are enabled in the firewall.

2. Check whether the Email ID which you are using is correct.

3. Check whether the Email ID for which you are sending mail is exist

4. Check whether the Email ID Quota is exceeded.

 

If so, use the below procedure to increase the email Quota

1. Login to the cpanel

2. Click on Email Accounts option under Mails

3. Select the corresponding change Quota option for which Email ID you want to increase the Quota.

4. Change the Quota value and Click on change Quota.

5. Check whether the domain is working.

6. If not, update us the system/network IP address by visiting http://getmyip.co.in to check whether it is blocked in the firewall.
