How to Delete a Domain Forwarder in cPanel?

Silicon House hosting comes with free cPanel/WHM. It comes with Domain forwarder. A domain forwarder allows you to point your primary domain and sub-domain to any website or destination you choose on the Internet. In this session we are going to see How to Delete a Domain Forwarder in cPanel.

If you no longer need to use the forwarder feature, you can remove it manually through the public_html folder in the .htaccess file. Another option would be to go the same way you set your domain forwarder via the cPanel.

Here are the steps involved in taking down domain forwarding, whether it’s just email forwarders or a whole forwarding address in cPanel.

Here are the steps to take when deleting an email domain forwarder:

[1] Login to your cPanel account
[2] On the home screen, click on the Mail section
[3] Within the Mail section, find and click on Forwarders
[4] Look for the Email Account Forwarder section
[5] Click on Delete located right next to the email domain forwarder that you want to take down
[6] Confirm your action on the confirmation window

Deleting Forwarded Domain or Sub-domain

[1] Log in to cPanel
[2] Go to Domains section
[3] Click Redirects
[4] Choose the forwarded domain or sub-domain you want to delete
[5] Click Delete, Remove, or X icon next to the domain forwarder you want to delete
[6] On the confirmation page, click Delete Domain Forwarder to confirm and save your action

Done! Hereby you have delete the Forwarder in your cPanel section.
