How do I Blacklist an Email ID or Domain Name in Spam Assassin ?

Mail sending delay can be attributed to sending server some extent, but receipt cannot be. Receipt is purely based on when the mail is sent from the remote server.

There is only one way that a mail receipt can be delayed at receipt side. That is if a mail box is full, then the remote server will be allowed to deliver mail only when the mail is cleared or has more space to receive that mail. Other than this, there could no issue from receipt server side.

If you want to block the mails which are receiving with particular subject, etc., you can use Account level filtering

Login to the cpanel of your domain navisafe.ae

1. Click on Account level filtering under Mails option,
2. Click on create a new filter,
3. Enter the filter name, Rules and actions(discard messages)
4. Click on Active.

You can blacklist the domain from which the spam mails are receiving by,

Login to the cpanel of your domain by yourdomainname/cpanel

1. Click on spam assassin option under mail,
2. Enable spam Assassin
3. Enable Spam Box,
4. Click on Configure SpamAssassin
5. To block all the mails from a particular domain , give *@domainname.com [ex. *@gmail.com ] in Blacklist_from option.
6. Click on Save.
