How to set up DKIM and SPF for E-mail account authentication in Direct Admin Control Panel?

Prerequisites #

1. You will require Login details for Direct Admin Control Panel of the Domain name.

Important Notes #

1.Make sure the domain name should be unique.
2.Make sure the username doesn’t contain special characters.

Procedure #

1. Login to Direct Admin Control Panel by using  https://yourdomain.com:2222/ or https://IP-address:2222/ or https://server-hostname:2222/.
2. To Enable DKIM ,Click on ” E-mail Accounts” under E-mail Manager section.

Click E-mail Accounts

3. Choose the particular E-mail Account.

Select Particular E-mail Id

4. Click on “Enable DKIM”.

Click Enable DKIM

5. A pop up message will appear for confirming that DKIM is enabled.

6. To setup SPF record, Click on DNS Management” under Account manager.

Click on DNS Management

7. Click on Add Record.

Click on Add record

8. Choose “TXT” from drop down for record type.

Click on TXT

9. Choose “SPF” from drop down for TXT Record Type.

10. Enter the IP address that you want to allow.

11. Click on Add.

Click on Add
