How to use Theme Manager in WHM Hosting Plan?

Silicon HouseHosting comes with free WHM/cPanel. In WHM, you can able to change the themes. In this session we are going to see How to use Theme Manager in WHM Hosting Plan.

This feature allows one to manage themes for the following interfaces: cPanel, Login, Webmail and WHM.

USES:

  • This feature allows one to manage themes for the following interfaces: cPanel, Login, Webmail and WHM.
  • It uses the cPanel & WHM theme as the skeletal frame on which one can put the style, or skin. It contains many elements, such as HTML and CSS.

The Theme Manager interface allows you to manage the following themes:

  • Paper Lantern
  • cPanel
  • Webmail
  • WHM

Theme manager feature allows you to view, download, clone, upload, and delete themes.

View a Snapshot:

In order to view a snapshot of the theme, one needs to click on the view icon corresponding to the theme one wishes to view.

Clone a Theme:

The system creates a copy of the theme when one clones a theme.

Steps:

[1] Login to WHM

[2] Click on the clone icon corresponding to the theme which one wishes to edit.
[3] Enter the name for the newly-cloned theme on the next page.
[4] Click on Submit.


Download a Theme:

To download a theme, one can click on Download. Old or unused themes can be deleted to prevent them taking up disk space.

Delete a Theme:

To delete a theme, one can click on Delete and thereafter click on Yes on the following interface so as to confirm deleting of the theme.

Upload and Install a Theme

Steps:

[1] Click on Browse, under the Install Theme
[2] Then select the theme file.
[3] Click on Upload. Thereafter new theme will appear in the Themes

Try a Theme:

To try a theme, one can click on Activate in the WHM Themes list. The interface will immediately change according to the theme activated.

Addon Themes:

Theme Manager can be used to install and update addon themes. These are additional themes that cPanel, Inc. or a third party provides.

Install an Addon Theme:

Select the Install and Keep Updated checkboxes for the themes to be used, and click on Save.

Uninstall an Addon Theme:

Click on Uninstall next to the theme that needs to be removed.

Done! This feature helps to select a theme and manage it for the users.
