How to take the email backup in Direct Admin Control Panel?

Perform the following steps to take the email backup in direct admin panel.

  1. Login to DirectAdmin
  2. Look for Create/Restore Backups option
  3. Select the things you want to include in the backup (like email accounts, email data etc)
  4. Click the Create Backup button. You will see a message Backup creation added to queue. You will receive a message via the DirectAdmin Message System when the
  5. Backup creation is done with the subject Your backups are now ready
  6. You will also see the backup archive in the /backups/ directory of your domain. (example: backup-Jun-18-2017-1.tar.gz)
