                          Procedure

                          Hosting  the domain in the Dedicated Server  

                          To host the domain in Dedicated Server via WHM , please follow the below procedure,

                          1. First of all you need to create the package then you have to create the account for that domain.

                          2. To create/add a new package under your WHM, use the below procedure.

                          • Login to the WHM
                          • Home » Packages » Add a Package
                          • Enter all the details, requirement and Click on Add.

                          Package Name : [ Example ] unlimited Package

                          Resources

                          Disk quota (MB) : Supply the amount of space you wish to allot. Example 250. For unlimited packages use 9999 like that.
                          Monthly bandwidth (MB) : Supply the amount of bandwidth you wish to allot. Example 1000. For unlimited packages use 9999 like that.
                          Max FTP Accounts : 7
                          Max Email Accounts : 50
                          Max Email Lists : 0
                          Max Databases : 10
                          Max Sub Domains : 5
                          Max Parked Domains : 5
                          Max Addon Domains : 5
                          Maximum Hourly Email by Domain Relayed : 250
                          Maximum percentage of failed or deferred messages a domain may send per hour: 50% [ Must be always 50 % or less ]

                          Settings

                          Dedicated IP : Always Uncheck
                          Shell Access : Always Uncheck
                          Frontpage Extensions : Always Uncheck
                          CGI Access : Always Uncheck
                          Digest Authentication at account creation : Always Uncheck

                          cPanel Theme : paper_lantern
                          Feature List : Default [ if you wish you can create the custom feature list ]
                          Locale : English

                          3. Create/Host a new account (or) new domain under your WHM by using the below procedure.

                          • Login to the WHM
                          • Home » Account Functions » Create a New Account

                          Create a New Account

                          Domain Information

                          Domain: Supply the domain name [ Example : demodomain.com ]
                          Username: Supply the user name [ Must be less than 8 chars ]
                          Password: Supply the password [ Please use tough password such as sdfiur3#^&ERF#0fr, Simple passwords not accepted ]
                          Re-type Password: Retype password
                          Email: Contact email id. This id will receive notification in usage, abuse, suspension etc. Hence keep an email that is in use and outside this domain and server

                          Package

                          Choose a Package : Choose the package you have created. If not created, please go to Add Packages link and create the package first.
                          Select Options Manually: Must always be unchecked

                          Settings

                          cPanel Theme: paper_lantern
                          Locale : English   [ You can set as per your requierment ]

                          DNS Settings

                          Enable DKIM on this account : Must always be checked
                          Enable SPF on this account (v=spf1 +a +mx +ip4:IP ?all): Must Always be checked
                          Use the nameservers specified at the Domain’s Registrar : Must always be unchecked
                          (ignore locally specified nameservers)
                          Overwrite any existing DNS zones for the account: Must always be unchecked

                          Mail Routing Settings [ Do not change any settings. Leave it as it is ]

                          Automatically Detect Configuration (recommended) more »
                          Local Mail Exchanger more »
                          Backup Mail Exchanger more »
                          Remote Mail Exchanger more »

                          4. Click Create button. It will take some time to create.

                          Dedicated Server WHM Troubleshooting FAQs

                          Need to change the username of hosted domain

                          Error :

                          Mispelled Username has been used while account creation

                          Solution :

                          To correct the username go to the option “Modify an Account” in dedicated server and choose the domain and click edit , then change the username and save it.

                          Getting DNS zone already existing error while hosting the domain

                          Error :

                          Account Creation Status Failed . A DNS entry for “domainname” already exists. You
                          must remove this DNS entry from all servers in the DNS cluster to
                          proceed.

                          Reason :  

                          The Username is already exists in the server or DNS zone for the domain was existing in the server which you are trying to create in the WHM. Sometimes you have enabled the keep zone option while terminating it. Hence you are facing this issue.

                          Solution :

                          This need to be removed in the DNS configuration file. Contact the hosting service provider and ask them to remove the DNS entry and then you can proceed for that domain creation in WHM.
