Procedure

Reseller Account Creation In Dedicated Server

For Creating the Reseller account in Dedicated Server please follow the below procedure,

1.You need to create the package for the domain.

Login to the server via root.Go to Packages » Add package » Give the package name [for eg.,Reseller_Master] and enter the space,bandwidth etc., (this is for the single domain not for the whole reseller account)

2.Go to Account functions » Create a New account » Enter the domainname,username,password,maild,Choose the package which you have created.

In Reseller Settings, check both the boxes of Make the account a Reseller and Owns their account (they can modify their own account) and click on create.

3.You can go to the Resellers » Show Reseller Accounts » you can able to view the domain which you have created and it will have the reseller previleges.

4.You need to allot the total space,bandwidth,no of accounts for the master account.Go to Resellers » Reseller Center » Under Reseller Modifications » choose the reseller account which you have created now » Click on Edit Privileges/Nameservers » Limit the total number of accounts for the reseller account you need to give,Limit the space,bandwidth which you wish to allocate»In Load an ACL List: Choose Standard_Secure » Click on Save All Settings.

5.Then you can give the url for accessing the whm as domainname/whm[Make sure that the domainname name servers have been pointed to your dedicated server]

How to allow my reseller to create unlimited package for clients ?

Solution :

To allow your reseller to create the unlimted package you need to give that permission to that reseller.

Go to the path ,

Home » Resellers » Edit Reseller Nameservers and Privileges

Choose the reseller master domain and click submit. There you can able to see the option ” Packages Creation ”  under that  check that check box which you want to allow to unlimted and click  ” save changes” . Now that reseller can able to create unlimted package for the clients.

How to disable reseller privillage to the hosted domain in dedicated server ?

 

Solution :

To disable the reseller privillage for hosted domain, you have to login to your dedicated server WHM and go to the below path ,

Home » Resellers » Reseller Center

there you can able to choose the domain name under “Remove Reseller Account Privileges” then click remove after that the privillage has been disabled .

How to enable reseller privillage to the hosted domain in dedicated server ?

Error :

This domain is not a reseller. In order to access the reseller WHM with hosted domain username , that user must have reseller privillage.

 

Solution :

To enable reseller privillage for hosted domain, you have to login to your dedicated server WHM and go to the below path ,

there you can able to choose the domain name under ” Add Reseller Account Privileges ” then click add after that the privillage has been enbaled.
